The idea of creating SUPRA 3.0 NFT collection belongs to the ambassador of Georgia to Japan. The collection consists of 5000 characters, created with up to a hundred elements from Georgian culture. Georgian nature, landscapes, history, cuisine, folk costumes, accessories, musical instruments, and archaeologically significant finds are incorporated into each character. The company responsible for technically creating SUPRA 3.0 is “Echolize”, while the character authors are Tamar Chekurishvili and Nikoloz Jangidze.
SUPRA 3.0 is a cultural bridge that connects the holders of the NFT with rich Georgian history and culture. The project aims to express Georgian hospitality and traditions through digital technologies. Each holder of the NFT (from anywhere in the world) automatically becomes a member of SUPRA 3.0 community with access to exclusive offers and services from the hospitality and wine industry in Georgia.
Teimuraz Lezhava, the ambassador of Georgia to Japan: “Georgian Supra is the most efficient way to express Georgian culture. It is an ancient tradition, which has been passed down from generation to generation. It is merely food and wine, but a brilliant way to exchange emotions, experiences, and ideas among the participants. The pride Georgians take in hospitality is felt in every detail of Supra, from making the wine and preparing the food, to toasts made by the Tamada. Supra is a cultural feast filled with memorable emotions and impressions for local and foreign guests alike. The aim of SUPRA 3.0 collection is to share Georgian traditions in a digital space with as many people as possible from all over the world and inspire them to visit Georgia.
Up to 30 companies in Georgia (hotels, wineries, restaurants, workspaces, and many more. You can see the complete list on the project website) offer exclusive benefits to NFT holders upon their visit to Georgia. For example, sommelier Jaba Dzimistarashvili and Giorgi Rukhadze of “George Grey Winery” held a wine tasting and a “Wine Museum” tour for one of the holders of the collection visiting Georgia from Japan; you won’t find Shkmeruli on the menu of Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel (as you know, this traditional Georgian dish is very popular in Japan), but the chef of the hotel will prepare this dish for our NFT owner, who can be a citizen of any country. I can name several exclusive services that are only available for SUPRA 3.0 community members.
I also want to say that we prepared a special NFT to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Japan and presented it to Mr. Taro Kono, who holds the position of Minister of Digital Affairs of Japan. He has two million four hundred thousand followers on Twitter, where he also shared our digital gift.
The Embassy of Georgia in Japan is one of the most active in social networks, especially on Twitter, where the Embassy has 200,000 followers and Mr. Teimuraz Lezhava has 140,000 followers. Each company, which is involved in SUPRA 3.0 and offers special services to NFT owners, is actively promoted through these channels.
“The big advantage of this project is that it is fully decentralized. Any company that wants to offer special products or services to NFT owners can join it independently. All they have to do is provide information by e-mail or through a social network, without going through registration or other formalities. We will share information about these companies through our channels and inform SUPRA 3.0 community members.
As I mentioned above, we already have interesting examples of cooperation in both Georgia and Japan. For example, recently a Japanese online store that sells Georgian wine expressed its desire to give SUPRA 3.0 community members a 30% discount on every purchase.
I think that over time many more companies will join this project, which will contribute to the promotion of Georgian traditions and culture and the exchange of cultures between our countries.”
